Management of CMV-Associated Diseases in Immunocompromised Patients

This chapter describe an overview of the clinical manifestations of CMV diseases that are in immunocompromised patients, including patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection / Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV / AIDS), organ transplant recipients, bone marrow transplant recipients, and individuals receiving immunosuppressive therapy or chemotherapeutic agents. We also present the conditions for the development of CMV disease in these patients.
